It has been some time since my last post, that is due to a couple of reasons. First I have been extremely busy with work and school, and second I have been waiting for this book to come out. You see I kind of have a personal connection to the author of the book, I grew up in the same neighbor as he did, was friends with his younger brother (since the author is considerably older than I), his grandparents have known me since I was just a new born. So one could say that I have some personal interest in this book.On to the book and my review...
Before My Heart Stops by Paul Cardall...
Paul Cardall writes about his health problem that has been with him ever since he was born, he was born with a heart disease called: congenital heart disease. He has been fighting for his life since birth.
This book talks about the period of time he found out he would have to have a heart transplant and all the challenges that he faced during his time leading up the event that caused him to write this wonderful book. Never before have I read such a powerful and inspirational book in my life (outside the scriptures). While reading this book I was touched by the spirit that Paul brought to this book and by the personal struggle that he went through during this period of his life. This book has made it so that anyone who reads it feels that they can go through any challenge, trial, tribulation that is place before them; as long as they have faith in God, and his plan for them.
